APSET 2018 Results out, 7.45 percent Passed

Visakhapatnam: APSET 2018 Results out, 7.45 percent Passed. The ap educational minister Ganta Srinivas Rao has released today the results of the APSET at the Andhra University Senate Hall. The minister said total 7.4 Percent candidates have passed out. Total 42,663 candidates have registered in online and 33,320 written the exams. Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test shortly known as (APSET) Paper 1 and Paper 2 examination was successfully held on July 1st by Andhra University, Vizag. The test was held at 6 examination centers Rajamahendravaram, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Anantapur, Nellore, and Tirupati.

A total of 42663 candidates have appeared for the examination. As per UGC the Procedure and criteria for declaration of result is as follows: 6% of the appeared candidates who appear in all the two papers should be declared qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor /Lecturer. These 6% candidates would be distributed among various categories as per the reservation policy of the concerned State Government. As per Govt. of Andhra Pradesh reservation policy, the percentage allocation of reservations are: BC-A (7%), BC-B (10%),BC-C (1%), BC-D (7%), SC (15%), BC-E (4%), ST (6%). The 33.33% for Women category and 3% for PWD candidates are given reservation vertically in each category.
