UGC NET 2018 Online Application Opened at cbsenet.nic.in
UGC NET 2018 Online Application for July session opened at official website cbsenet.nic.in. Eligible candidates can now apply at the website from Mar 6th to Apr 4th. Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting National Eligibility Test on behalf of UGC. CBSE will conduct the exam on July 8th.
The sole purpose of NET is to determine the eligibility of candidates for Asst Professor or JRF (Junior Research Fellowship).
Before applying, the candidate must keep ready the photo and signature in the jpg format with the following specifications. Passport size photograph should be of minimum 4kb to 40 kb with the dimension of 3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height. The signature should be of minimum 4kb to 30 kb with the dimension of 3.5 cm width x 1.5 cm height.
Steps for submission of UGC NET 2018 Online Application
First step: Go to official website of CBSE www.cbsenet.nic.in.
Second step: Click on the ‘Apply for NET July 2018’ link at the bottom of the page. The process of online application consists four steps i.e., Application form, Upload images, fee payment and Confirmation.
Third step: Click on apply for July 2018. After that click on proceed to apply online. Provide all the requisite details such as name, date of birth, identity card and etc.
Fourth step: Upload photo and signature and click on submit button.
Fifth step: After that, select payment option to pay the prescribed application fee through e-challan or debit card/ credit card.
Sixth step: Click on confirm button. After successful submission, download the application and take a printout for future references.
The candidates should bring a photo identity card along with a printout of online admission card on the day of examination.

Examination Fee: General candidates must pay Rs.1000. Non-creamy layer OBC candidates should pay Rs.500. SC/ST/PWD category candidates must pay Rs.250.
