Assam Police Recruitment 130 Sub Inspector Posts Apply at assampolice.gov.in. The Assam Police department invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up of 130 existing vacancies in the rank of Sub Inspector (SI) of Police (UB) in the pay scale of Rs. 14000- 49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay plus other interests as admissible under the rules.

The Applications can be submitted online through the Assam Police website (www.assampolice.gov.in) and http://slprbassam.in/. An online application will be received with effect from 17th April to 17th May 2018. A total of 130 posts of Sub-Inspector (Un-Armed Branch) are to be filled.

Posts Details: Sub-Inspector (Unarmed Branch) for Male Candidates: 91 Posts and Sub-Inspector (Unarmed Branch) for Female Candidates: 39 Posts.

Eligibility Criteria For Assam Police Recruitment 2018:

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens, ordinarily a resident of Assam.

Educational and Qualification: Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Commerce, Science or any equivalent stream from a recognized University.

Age Limit: A candidate must be between 20 to 24 years of age, as of January 1, 2018. (Candidate have born on or before January 1, 1998, and on or after January 1, 1994).

Selection Procedure for Assam Police Recruitment 2018: The Applicants will be selected by a written Examination, which will be entirely OMR based. The written examination will be of 100 marks, each question will carry one marks. The test has negative marking scheme; half marks will be deducted on every wrong answer.
