Karnataka Board KSEEB Introduce Grading System for SSLC/10th Class; Know how to Calculate Points. The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB), Bengaluru has released the notification for introducing grading system for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations from the 2017-18 Batch.
The pattern grading is currently in use in CBSE and ICSE boards Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system for 10th Class which is yet to be approved by the Karnataka government, students will have to score at least 30 percent in each paper in the public exam but maintain an aggregate of 35 percent in the six subjects.
KSEEB Introduce Grading System for SSLC/10th Class Details:
Sources the public exam, hitherto written for a total of 625 marks, will be for 500 marks (80 marks each for five papers and 100 marks for the first language).
Karnataka Board conducting SSLC examination with subjects wise marks:
First Language: 125.
Second Language: 100.
Third Language: 100.
Mathematics: 100.
Science: 100.
Social Science: 100.
Total: 625 Marks.

Currently, KSEEB is using classes, a distinction of awarding the students. The 10th Class students would get grades in the form of A+, A, B+, B, C+ and C. Which is currently using in CBSE and ICSE boards.
A+: Students with 562-625 marks
A: Student with 500-561 marks.
B+: Student with 437-499 marks.
B: Students with 375-436 marks.
C+: Students with 312-374 marks.
C: Students with 219-311 marks.
