AP TET 2018 Rules for Paper 1 Eligibility, Qualification, Syllabus released

AP TET 2018 Rules G.O no 91 released for Paper 1 primary teachers. Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test rules under RTE 2009 Act orders released. As per NCERT AP TET 2017 Rules for Paper 1 exam is conducting Classes 1st to 5th. The AP government conducting first time computer based test (C-TET) in online mode.

Eligibility for AP TET Exam 2018 Rules for Paper-1: candidates at the time of applying for APTET should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications prescribed for the category of I to V classes (Paper- I). Intermediate with at least 50 percent marks. For SC, ST, BC, candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. Pass in 2year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR Intermediate with at least 45 percent marks. In respect of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in 2year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4year Bachelor of Elementary Education. (B.El.Ed.) / 2year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates, who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course before the issue of these guidelines. AP TET 2018 Rules for Paper 1:

Structure and Content of TET for Paper- I: All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions. There will be no Negative Marking. Each carrying 1-mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be Two Papers for the TET Paper one will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for 1st to 5th Classes.

Structure and Content (all compulsory): Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language II (English), Mathematics, Environmental Studies: Total 150 questions and 150 Marks. Each subject will have 30 marks and 30 questions.

Pass Criteria in AP TET Marks 2018: OC 60 percent, BC 50 percent, SC 40 percent, ST 40 percent. Physically Handicapped with at least 40 percent handicap only will be considered in respect of Visually Handicapped and Orthopedically Handicapped.

Weightage of TET Score in the Teacher Recruitment of the AP State: A 20% Weightage to TET scores shall provide in the Teacher Recruitment of the State Government, balance 80% weightage will be for Written Test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) based on which selection lists shall be prepared.
