Vivo Officially Launches Vivo V9 with Dual Rear Cameras; Know Specifications. After an impressive concept showcase at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018), Vivo appears to be getting ready for its next flagship smartphone. A company teaser, revealed via Weibo, hints at the Vivo V9 smartphone.
Vivo V9, the company upcoming selfie-focused smartphone in the ‘V Series’ was teased in a billboard in Indonesia last week. Now live images of the phone have surfaced online that shows the notch design.
Vivo V9 with Dual Rear Cameras Specifications:
The Vivo V9 appears to feature a rear fingerprint sensor, which means the smartphone will not be priced in the high-end category as it does not seem to incorporate the under-display fingerprint sensing technology. Other details on the use of chipset and battery capacity are scarce.
Based on the poster, the Vivo V9 will feature a ‘notch’ on the top of the screen. Debuted by Apple in the iPhone X, the notch-design is picking pace in the industry as more manufacturers are adding the cutout on their newer models. Asus recently introduced the design with its Zenfone 5 smartphone, while new Oppo R15 models also boast similar design features.
The teaser already confirmed 24MP front camera for the phone, similar to the V9. Another image also confirms dual rear cameras for the phone. It is not clear if the phone will have HD+ display, similar to the predecessor or an improved Full HD+ display.
Vivo V9 also appears to feature an edge-to-edge display with 18:9 aspect ratio. As for the front camera, it is likely to come with a 24-megapixel shooter. What also stands out from the posters is the presence of dual cameras at the back.
