The Business France and Technicolor SA France owned consumer electronic brand Thomson has sent out invites for the launch in India on 12th April 2018. Now the company will launch its new LED TVs in the country through the e-commerce market space. With an exclusive licensing agreement so it should be either Flipkart and Amazon.in etc.,

TV Brand Thomson to re-enter Indian market:

As of now, Thomson will be a unique online brand in India focussing on smart televisions at competitive prices. “At Thomson, our DNA is to offer friendly technologies to the market. India is an up-and-coming market, and we look forward to adding to the delight of the Indian consumer,” said Sebastien Crombez of Thomson, France in a press release issued by the company.

With over 120years of legacy, the French Corporation works with licensing partners world over. It was once India’s highest selling brand, and the company said that it would price its Smart LED TVs competitively and like to place the best bet while comparing several options that are available online.

This comes at a time when the Indian television market is already cluttered with over 30 brands, including major Chinese Xiaomi entering recently with ambitious plans. At present, Samsung, LG, and Sony are the top three brands in the Rs 22,000 crore market.
