TS Postal Circle GDS Notification 2018 released for 1058 Posts. TS Postal Circle has issued a notification at the official website www.appost.in/gdsonline for Gramin Dak Sevak. Candidates who are interested should register and apply online on or before April 9.
However, the postal circle has canceled the earlier issued notification for 645 posts. Candidates who have already applied must apply a fresh online application in response to the re-notification.
TS Postal Circle GDS Notification 2018 details
Educational Qualifications: Candidate should have passed 10th Class from any school recognized by state/ central govt. No weightage for possessing additional qualifications. Preference will be given to the candidate who has passed in the first attempt.
Computer Knowledge: Candidate should have computer knowledge. He/she must produce a certificate for at least 60 days course from any recognized Computer Training Institute. Certificates from Central/ State Government/ University/ Boards etc. will also suffice this purpose. Candidates who have studied computer as a subject in Class 10 or Class XII or higher educational qualification need not produce a computer certificate.
Age: The candidate should have attained 18 years of age and should not have completed 40 years. Further, age relaxation applies to the following categories. OBC three years, SC/ST five years & PH ten years.
Security Bond: The selected candidates have to furnish security amount of Rs.25000 in the form of Fidelity Guarantee bond or National Savings Certificate
Fee: General/OBC category male candidates should pay the fee of Rs.100 at www.appost.in/gdsonline for each set of five options. Exemption of fee applies to all Female, SC/ST and PH candidates. Candidates can pay the fee online directly. Otherwise, they can pay the fee at any identified Post Offices in TS circle by providing the registration number.
