TS NMMS 8th Class Notification, Application, Exam Dates. The National Means cum Merit Scholarship Examination, also known as NMMS Exam. The Central Government sponsors the NMMS Exam. The local authority conducts the examination. To prevent the dropping out of economically backward student’s from school at class VIII and to encourage them to complete their education till the secondary stage, the exam seek’s to identify meritorious students and fund their education expense’s. There is reservation as per Government norms.
The National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) Examination will be conducted on 04th November 2018 along with the NTS State level examination from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM. The eligible candidates can register in online from 24th August 2018. The online application link will be activated at http://bse.telangana.gov.in/.
Eligibility:
A Candidate who Scored at least 55% of marks in class VII examination of the year 2017-18 and has been promoted to class VIII for the academic year 2018-19.
In respect of SC/ST candidate’s they have secured at least 50% or its equivalent grade. Is studying in Govt/ZP/Municipal/Private Aided High School Model School’s which have no residential facility is only eligible to write the examination NMMS 2017.
Whose parental annual income is below Rs 1,50,000 per year from all source is eligible to appear for the examination. In case of Govt, employee salary certificate will be enough as a proof of income issued by the employer.
Examination fee is: Rs.100/- for OC/BC students & Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PH students.
The examination’s fee has to be paid in the form of Demand Draft through SBH/SBI in favor of “THE DIRECTOR OF GOVERNMENT EXAMINATIONS TELANGANA HYDERABAD.”
Important dates:
Last date for registration of Applications online and remittance of Examination fee online: 04th Sep 2018.
The last date for submission of a printed copy of online registered Application Forms and NR (two photographs) and fee receipts of SBI collect by the Head Masters of the school’s concerned in the office of concerned District Educational Officer’s. (Printed Application form regarded Head Master must attest NR.) (Attested copy of the caste and medical certificate’s in case of BC/SC/ST/PH should be enclosed. Otherwise, they will be treated as General candidate’s). 05-09-2018.
The last date for submission of Printed Nominal Rolls attested by concerned Head Masters and fee receipts of SBI collect by the concerned DEOs to the O/o the Director of Government Examinations., T.S., Hyderabad. 06-09-2018.
