Telugu Desam Party leader Anam Vivekananda Reddy passes away in Hyderabad. The Senior politician from Nellore Anam Vivekananda Reddy passed away after a prolonged battle with lung-related ailments at a private hospital in Hyderabad this 9:30 morning. Anam was 67. He is survived by his wife Himavathi and two sons Anam Chenchu Subba Reddy and Anam Ranga Mayur Reddy.

Anam Vivekananda Reddy was one of the most flamboyant and firebrand politicians in Telugu politics. He was popular for his style statements and audacious statements.TDP chief and AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu had paid a visit to Anam recently when he was undergoing treatment.

He was born in Nellore. His attire, joviality, friendly banter, looks, the gold chains and stylish smoking of the cigarette has made him instantly recognizable. His brother Anam Ramanarayana Reddy is also a political leader and minister in the cabinets of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, K Rosaiah, and N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.
