HYDERABAD: Telangana finance dept approved Home Department 499 Posts in Director General of Police. Telangana finance department has approved 499 posts in the home department through TSPSC. TS Finance Dept has given permission through G.O MS NO 24 today for filling up of 499 posts of Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno and Librarian posts. TSPSC will take up recruitment process for these posts.
The Home Department has sent a proposal on 14th February this year for direct recruitment of different posts in Director General of Police. The state government has reviewed the direct recruitment vacancy position in Home Department. The govt has carefully examined the proposal with reference to the TSPSC.

ORDER: Government has reviewed the Direct Recruitment vacancy position in Home Department. After careful examination of the proposal furnished by the Department and keeping given the actual requirement. Government hereby accord permission to fill (499) Four Hundred and Ninety-Nine vacant posts in various categories as follows by Direct Recruitment under the control of Director General of Police, Telangana, Hyderabad, through the Telangana State Public Service Commission, Hyderabad.

- Junior Steno / LD Steno 29.
- Typists 89.
- Librarian 01 Total 499.
The Secretary, Telangana State Public Service Commission, Hyderabad shall take appropriate steps for filling the above vacancies through direct recruitment.
The administrative department and the Head of Department concerned shall furnish details of all vacant posts authorized in this order, including the local cadre wise / roster points and qualifications, etc., to the recruiting agency immediately under intimation to Finance Department. The Department shall issue necessary amendments to their service rules / Bye-laws / Government Orders changing the existing recruitment procedure /recruiting agency wherever necessary.
