SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018 Registration begins for Online For 54,953 Posts. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open examination for recruitment For 54,953 posts of Constable (GD) in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The applications are invited from the dedicated eligible candidates (female) to be a part of this examination and be a part of Indian Forces.
Candidates seeking to get central government posts can apply through SSC official website ssc.nic.in. The interested and eligible aspirants can apply online from 21st July to 20th August 2018. Eligibility Criteria for SSC GD Constable For 54,953 Posts:
Educational Qualification: Candidates who have completed Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ University are eligible to apply for the posts vacancy.
Age Limit: Candidates age limit must be in between 18 years to 23 years as on the closing date of applications. And candidates come under reservation category will get age relaxation benefits as per Govt norms.
Age Relaxations: SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates Relaxation as per on Government Rule Regulation. SC/ST: 5 Yrs, OBC: 3 Yrs, Persons with Disabilities: 10 Yrs, SC/ST PWD: 15 Yrs and OBC PWD: 13 Yrs.
Selection Process: The applicants have to qualify in various rounds of selection process such as Written Test. Physical Eligibility Test and Physical Standards Test Interview/GD.
Physical standards laid down for the post of Constable are:
Height:
For Males: 170 cms.
For Females: 157 cms.
Chest:
For males only: Unexpanded: 80 cms.
Expanded: Min expansion 5 cms.
Weight:
For males and Females: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Race (Running):
For Males: 5 Km. in 24 Minutes.
For Females: 1.6 Km. in 8 Minute 30 Second.

Application Fee: The candidates have to pay the requisite application fee of General / OBC Candidates: Rs. 50/-. SC/ST/PWD Aspirants: Nil.
The applicants can pay the online application fee through online/offline modes. To pay the application fee online candidates can pay through any of the valid debit/credit cards. And to pay the fee through offline, candidates need to pay it in any of the branches of SBI using the challan.
