The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has been decided to fill the vacant seats in Class IX through an All India level Admission Test. NVS has released the Navodaya 9th Class Entrance Exam 2018 notification and Online application forms. The eligible students for admissions into Class IX in all Navodaya Schools against Vacant Seats.
How to Apply Navodaya 9th Class Entrance Exam Online Application:
First Step: Go to official website www.nvshq.org
Second Step: Scroll down and search for the link. “Prospectus Cum Online Application Form For Lateral Entry Admission To Class IX (2018-19) Against Vacant Seats.” Click on that link.
Third Step: The new window will open the official website name. “www.nvsadmissionclassnine.in” and click on “Candidate to click here for Registration.”
Fourth Step: Select your state and district and click on to proceed.
Fifth Step: Enter your details and Upload your school details and preview details and check all the information correctly click on to proceed.

Students who are studying 9th Class during the Academic Session 2017-18 in one of the Governments or Recognized schools. Apply at nearest of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) is functioning and where admission is sought, are only eligible.
The government of India started JNVs all over the country except the state of Tamil Nadu (TN). These are co-educational, residential schools, fully financed by Government of India and run by an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalayas, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The education in the schools is free including board lodging, uniforms, and textbooks, a nominal fee of Rs.600/- per month is collected from the students of Classes IX to XII only. In respect of ward of Govt. Employees, fee Rs.1500/- per month, has to be paid. However, students belonging to SC/ST categories, Girls Boys from families whose income is below poverty line (BPL) are exempted from payment of a fee.
Important Dates: The Online applications may be submitted by 1st March 2018. The candidate may refer to NVS Hqrs Website www.nvshq.org or website of JNVs. The last date to register in online for Class IX Lateral Entry test is 5th April 2018 (up to 24:00 Hrs).
