IIT JAM 2019 Registration Opened, Know Eligibility, Syllabus. The Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2019 is scheduled to be held on 10th February 2019. The exams will be conducted in two sessions as Computer Based Test for admissions to M.Sc (four semesters), joint M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree, M.Sc Ph.D, etc. programmes at the IITs and integrated Ph.D. degree programmes at IISc.
Those who wish to apply online through JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS), via http://www.jam.iitkgp.ac.in. The last date to apply online registration iit jam 10th October 2018.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications: The aspirant should hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized college or university. They must have scored a minimum 55 percent marks for general and OBC-NCL candidates.
For SC, ST and PWD categories, it is 50 percent. Those student’s who are in the final year of their qualifying exam can also apply.
Age limit: There is no age online restriction, and the candidate can be an Indian national or a foreigner.
IIT JAM 2019: Syllabus:
The syllabus will comprise of various topics such as BL (Biological Sciences), BT (Biotechnology), GC (Geology), MS (Mathematical Statistics), CY (Chemistry), PH (Physics) and MA (Mathematics).
Steps to Registration in Online for IT JAM 2019:
First Step: Go to official website http://jam.iitkgp.ac.in/
Second Step: Search for the “Registration” button and click on that.
Third Step: Enter your details like providing your name, a valid e-mail address, a working mobile number and a password.
Fourth Step: All communications will be made through the same address and E-mail will be sent that will have candidate’s enrolment ID.
Fifth Step: Keep your ID along with the password information safe, and confidential.
Online Application Fee:
All candidates have to pay application form fee’s as mentioned in the form. Application form fees can be paid through Net-banking/debit card/credit card.

IIT JAM 2019: Important dates:
- Examination schedule: Session I: 9 am to 12 pm – Mathematics (MA), Biological Sciences (BL), Physics (PH).
- Session II: 2 pm to 5 pm – Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Biotechnology (BT), Mathematical Statistics (MS).
- Online registration ends on 10th October 2018.
- Admit card availability: 04th January 2019
- Result announcement on 20th March 2019.
