CBSE to conduct Central TET Exams on September 9; Details on ctet.nic.in. The CTET 2018 will be organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams on 16th September 2018 in around 92 cities across the country. As per a notification released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), the announcement for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will publish on 12th June 2018.
CBSE to conduct Central TET Exams:
The online application process will start from 22nd June 2018 (Friday) onwards. The last date for submitting the online application is 19th July (Thursday). The candidates can send their fees online by up to 21st July 2018 (Saturday) before 3.30 pm.
Interested applicants are advised to download the bulletin and read it carefully before applying online. CTET aspirants will be able to apply online through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in.
As per RTE Act, it is mandatory for candidates to be CTET Qualified to be able to apply for Central Government and State Government Schools. Besides government schools, private schools in India to give preference to CTET or State TET qualified teachers.
The CTET exam has two papers. Paper-I is for those interested in teaching classes 1 to 5. Paper II is for those who wish to teach grades 6 to 8. In case an applicant wants to show both levels, they will be required to sit for both papers I and II.
