BIS Scientist B Notification 2018 for 109 posts officially released at www.bsi.gov.in. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is going to recruit engineering graduates for the post of Scientist B. The online registration will begin on March 16, 2018, for BIS Scientist B. The last date for online application submission is 2 April.
The entry pay of these posts is in the minimum of Pay Level 10 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission plus allowances as applicable. The indicative gross salary as on date will be Rs. 79,929/-. Young and dynamic persons who are eligible can now apply at www.bis.gov.in before April 2.

- Metallurgical Engineering: 10 posts.
- Civil Engineering: 8 posts.
- Electrical Engineering: 10 posts.
- Electronics Engineering: 17 posts.
- Chemical Engineering: 12 posts.
- Food Technology: 5 posts.
- Microbiology: 13 posts.
- Textile Engineering and Fibre Science: 3 posts.
Eligibility
Candidate must have secured 60% aggregate marks in the relevant discipline in Bachelor’s Degree in Engg or Technology or its equivalent. SC/ST category candidates must have secured 50% marks in aggregate.
Microbiology: Candidate should have passed Master’s Degree or its equivalent exam with not less than 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates).
Fee: All candidates, except SC/ST/PWD/Women/Ex-servicemen, should pay Rs.750 towards application fee through the online payment gateway.
