Assam Public Service Commission ACF Class I Notification 2018 Released

APSC Assistant Conservator of Forests Notification 2018 released vide No. 34PSC/E-11 /2017-18 dated 12th March. Assam Public Service Commission has issued an advertisement for 25 posts of ACF Class I at the official website www.apsc.nic.in. Aspirants who want to serve as Assistant Conservator of Forests in the Assam Forest Service (Class-I) are requested to apply on or before April 12.

The pay scale is of Pay Band 4 (PB-4), Rs.30,000 to 1,10,000 and Grade Pay Rs.12,700. The selected candidates will undergo in-service two-years Diploma Course of Training in Forestry. Director of Forest Education will offer the course.

Applicants can download the application form from the APSC‘s website www.apsc.nic.in. The application form along with its enclosure should be enclosed in an envelope cover with superscription in bold letters name of the post applied. The application should be addressed to the Deputy Secretary, APSC, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22.

Age: Candidates must have completed the age of 21 years and should not exceed 38 years of age as on the 1st January 2018. The upper age limit is relaxable in the case of SC/ST candidates up to five years.

Educational Qualifications: Applicant must have passed Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or equivalent from any recognized university with one of the following subjects.

Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, computer application/ computer science, engineering (agriculture/ chemical/ civil/ computer/ electrical/ electronics/ mechanical). Environmental science, forestry, geology, horticulture, mathematics, physics, statistics, veterinary sciences, zoology.

The applicant applying for ACF should pay Rs.250 towards application fee in treasury and Rs.150 for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC category candidates. Head of the account is ‘OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC.’

Enclosures:

1. Treasury receipt.
2. Two recent passport size photographs.
3. Age certificate (HSLC or equivalent).
4. Caste certificate.
5. Experience certificate.

Male/ Female Candidates must pass a walking Test of 25 km/ 16 km within 4 hours on foot respectively.
