APTET 2018 May Notification Released; Know Eligibility Guidelines as Per G.O 25 The Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) Notification released today at the official website https://aptet.apcfss.in/. As per TET GO 25 exam will be held from 10th to 21st June 2018. Know all eligible candidates Exam Dates, Syllabus, Online Application Form, Eligibility, minimum Qualifications, question paper structure details.

AP TET and AP DSC recruitment, the official notification for Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) has been released online at the official website aptet.apcfss.in. The eligible candidates can submit the online application form at cse.ap.gov.in. The APPSC will release notification for AP DSC teacher recruitment on July 7, 2018.

APTET 2018 May Notification, Eligibility:

Qualifications for TET PAPER II A (Classes VI TO VIII): Mathematics and Science Teachers/ Social Studies Teachers

Any graduation in concerned subject with at least 50 percent marks. In case of SC, ST, BC, Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40 percent. And pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).

OR 4-year BAEd, BScEd with at least 50 Percent marks, in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled applicants, the lowest marks shall be 45 percent. Read more: AP TET Paper 2 Qualifications, Eligibility, Syllabus released

Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII):

Graduation with Language concerned as one of Optional Subjects / Bachelor of Oriental Language /its equivalent. Graduation in Literature. Post Graduation in Language concerned & L.P Training Certificate/Bachelor of Education With Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language-Teachers.

AP-TET PAPER-II B (Classes VI TO VIII):

Physical Education Teachers/ School Assistant- Physical Education

Physical Education Teacher: Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

OR Equivalent certificate recognized by Board of Intermediate Education Govt of AP and Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education (UGDPEd) of One.

or Two years duration/ Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) of duration not less than Two years (or equivalent) from any NCTE Recognized Institution. If not Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent (or) Bachelor’s Degree with Physical Education an elective subject (or) Graduate in Physical Education (BPE) at least Three years duration and (UGDPEd) of one or two years duration/ Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed). Of duration not less than two years (or equivalent) from any NCTE Recognized Institution.

Structure and Content of TET Exams:

All questions will be IN Multiple Choice Questions-(MCQs), each carrying One Mark, with four alternatives out of which One Answer will be correct. There will be no Negative marks.

There will be Two Papers for the AP TET Paper One will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V, Paper Two will be for a person who plans to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII.

A person who intends to be a Teacher either for 1st to 5th Classes or for 6th to 8th Classes shall have to appear in both Papers (Paper-I and Paper II).

Paper- I: No. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) – 150 b) Duration of Examination: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
