AP TET 2017 Paper 2 Qualification Eligibility Syllabus released. The government of Andhra Pradesh has published the guidelines for conducting AP TET through APPSC. The AP govt will conduct C-TET in online i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT). NCTE has mandated a pass in TET for the appointment of Teacher for Classes I to VIII. Keeping in mind ensuing AP DSC 2017, the govt has published guidelines for AP TET 2017/18.
Whats AP TET 2017 Paper 2 Qualifications, Eligibility?
a) Candidate should be a graduate in B.A./B.Com/B.Sc with at least 50% marks. 45 percent marks for SC/ST/Differently Abled/BC candidates. And he/she should also pass in B.Ed/Bachelor of Education (Special Education). OR
b) Applicant should be a graduate in B.Sc./B.Com/B.A with at least 50% marks. In case of BC/SC/ ST/Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. And the applicant passed in Bachelor of Education/B.Ed -Special Education. It is applicable to the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed course prior to the issue of these guidelines. OR
c) The candidate should be 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed holder with at least 50% marks. 45 percent marks for BC/ Differently Abled/ SC/ ST candidates. OR
d) The applicant should be a graduate in Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects OR graduate in literature OR Post Graduation in Language concerned OR Bachelor of Oriental Language. And, he/she should also possess LPT Certificate/ B.Ed in concerned language as one of the methodologies in respect of Language Teachers.
The final year of B.Ed or D.El.Ed candidates etc. are also eligible to appear for TET exam. But they cannot appear for DSC with this TET certificate unless the candidates acquire the requisite qualification.

All questions in AP TET 2017 Paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark. There will be no negative marking. The maximum duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. The question paper contains 150 questions.
How much Weightage of TET score?
TET score will carry 20% weightage in the Teacher Recruitment test. Balance 80% weightage will carry written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT).
The qualifying marks for different categories are General 60%, BC 50%, SC/ST/Differently abled & Ex-Servicemen 40%.
Medium of paper: The Question Paper shall be bilingual i.e English followed by the Language-I chosen by the candidates for all Languages.
The validity of Certificates shall be for a period of 7 years from the date of TET
