The AP POLYCET is a Polytechnic common entrance test conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) Hyderabad for admission into Diploma level programmes conducted in Government, Private unaided polytechnics and polytechnics run in existing Private unaided Engineering Colleges.

The detailed record with the ranks of the candidates called on each day for counseling will publish in daily Newspapers in English and Telugu having extensive publicity to enable the candidates to attend the Admission Camp on the specified date, time and place for each region.

AP POLYCET 2018 Certificate Verification:

The Aspirants who have been called for counseling have to bring the following certifications, which are relevant to them in original for verification purpose along with one set of attested copies.

Memo of Marks of SSC or its equivalent Examination.

Community Certificate from Revenue Authorities, issued by officers not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) in respect of BC, SC and ST candidates as per proforma given in Annexure-V. The details of sub-caste and a Serial number of the caste in the groups of BC / SC and ST are to be given in the Certificate.

The certificate is showing the Date of Birth.

POLYCET-2018 Hall ticket and Rank Card.

Certificate of study for the entire period of education from Class IV to X.

Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority and also PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority/Anglo-Indian Certificate if applicable. In respect of PH category, candidates have to produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board. Candidates who have a disability of 40 percent and above will only consider

In case of candidates who are not local to any one of the University areas, a Certificate from the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) for a total period ten years of residence, excluding the period of study outside the State.

In case of candidates who are not Local to any one of the University areas, a certificate from the employer with whom the parents or the spouse of the candidate employed.

Fee Details:

The Candidates of SC/ST category have to pay Rs. 200/- While OC/BC/Minority candidates have to pay Rs. 400/- towards Processing Fee. Tuition fee payable after allotment varies between Rs.3,800 to Rs.21,000 per annum depending on the type of college allotted.

The restitution of Tuition fee in respect of all eligible candidates will be as per the orders issued by Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states from time to time. All the candidates have to pay Rs.600/- towards AP SBTET recognition fee as prescribed.
