AP SC, ST, BC, Minority Kapu Post Matric Scholarships from 2018-19, apply @ jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in
The AP government has sanctioned AP Kapu Post Matric Scholarships for Kapu, Telaga, Balija and Ontari caste students. Students who are studying Intermediate, Degree, P.G. and Professional Courses w.e.f the academic year 2018-19 are eligible to apply. All eligible students can apply @ https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in.
The Government released G.O.MS.No. 40 Dated: 21-12-2017, after examining the proposals, had ordered the B.C Welfare Department and Kapu Corporation to take further steps to implement the scholarships from 2018-19. It has been suggested that the scholarships should be granted each month at par BC students.
For students studying Engineering, Medicine, MBA, MCA, CPL, PG, Ph.D., M.Phil, CA, ICWA, Polytechnic and GNM Courses will get Rs.429 per month. Degree students will get Rs.240 per month. Inter, ITI and Vocational Courses students will get Rs.182 per month.

- 5 నుంచి 8వ తరగతి వరకు చదివే బాలురకు 1000రూ, బాలికలకి 1500రూ, ఇస్తారు.
- 9,10 తరగతులు చదివే పిల్లలు కి 2250రూ, ఇస్తారు.
- 5 నుంచి 8వ తరగతి వరకు MP/ZP స్కూళ్ల లో చదువుతూ ఉండాలి.
- 9,10 వసతి గృహాల లో మాత్రమే చదువుతూ ఉండాలి.

- రెండు సెట్ల దరఖాస్తులలో ఒకటి HM కి ఇవ్వాలి.మరొకటి విద్యార్థి దగ్గర ఉంచుకోవాలి.
- HM ల దగ్గర నుండి సాంఘిక సంక్షేమ అధికారులు సేకరిస్తారు.
- ఆధార్,రేషన్ కార్డులు, caste సర్టిఫికేట్, బ్యాంక్ సంయుక్త ఖాతా నెంబర్,విద్యార్హతల పత్రం,రెండు పాస్ పోర్ట్ సైజ్ ఫోటోలు అవసరం అవుతాయి.

Earlier in 2016, the government has issued guidelines for implementation of Scholarship Programme for the economically backward Kapu students in AP.
In 2017, the APWKWDC Ltd has sent a proposal to the government for sanction of PMS at par with B.C.Students. APWKWDC Ltd has also requested the govt to entrust the implementation of scholarships programme to BC Welfare Dept. The BC Welfare Department is implementing Students Scholarships Programme for Backward Classes/EBCs through Jnanabhumi portal. The Dept of BC Welfare has necessary manpower.
In November 2018, the B.C.Welfare has proposed for sanction of Post Matric Scholarships and implementation of the Reimbursement of Tuition Fee to the Kapu students. The BC Welfare will disburse the scholarships from the financial year 2018-19 from the Kapu Corporation funds.

The AP Govt has ordered that the RTF to the Kapu, Telaga, Balija and Ontari caste students shall be implemented under EBC category. The BC Dept will release the scholarships to Kapu students from the Kapu Corporation funds w.e.f. The financial year 2017-18.
