AP TET Paper 3 Language Pandits new exam pattern Rules released. The Andhra Pradesh government amended AP TET 2017 guidelines. The government of AP has amended the guidelines for conducting APTET (Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test) under RTE, 2009.
AP TET Paper 3 guidelines:
The new amendment permits Any Graduation with at least 50 percent marks. In case of BC/SC/ST Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40 percent. And the candidates should pass in B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) Course / B.Ed-Special Education.
The words “BA/B.Sc/B.Com” of earlier guidelines for Paper-II shall be substituted with the words “any graduation.”
The minimum qualification for AP TET Paper 3 (language teachers) amended as Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects OR Graduation in Literature (OR) Bachelor of Oriental Language or Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language. Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with Language concerned as 1 of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
As per the amended guidelines, there will be three papers for the Teacher Eligibility Test. The persons who want to become a teacher for Class 1 to 5 have to attend Paper-I. The candidates who wish to become a teacher for Class 6 to 8 have to attend Paper-II. Paper-3 will be for a person who intends to be a Language Teacher (English, Hindi and Telugu). A person who intends to be a Teacher either for Classes I to V or for Classes VI to VIII shall have to appear in Paper-I & Paper II
Exam Pattern of Paper 3 appended below. There will be One Fifty (150) multiple choice questions in Paper III. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.
