7th Pay Commission: Minimum Basic Salary for central Govt employees. The central government is paying minimum basic salary to employees rs 18,000/- now. It should be increased 21,000/-. The cabinet approved 34 demands to change. Minimum wage going up in 2017 soon.
7th Pay Commission Report: Another good news for Government Employees. The Narendra Modi government is raising the minimum salary for central government employees. The government pay minimum basic pay to increase to Rs 21,000 as per reports. At present, the minimum salary of central government employees is Rs. 18,000. However, the minimum salary to be increased to twenty-one thousand. Enhanced CPC came into effect on July 1, 2017, and are based on recommendations of the Award Committee (CA). The Ashok Lavasa panel on allowances in 7th Pay Commission submitted the report to Arun Jaitley. Union cabinet approved 34 recommendations with modifications. The 7th Pay Commission suggested the repeal of the 53 permits. In this, the government has decided not to stay away with 12 permits. Similarly, the Pay Commission has recommended a reduction in Pay X rates of 24 percent, 16 percent for Y- percent and 8 percent Z for cities. CPC for employees to be implemented from January 1st 2016, and effect on July 1, 2017.
