RRB Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician Recruitment 2018 Notification out. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) invites online applications for the above posts from eligible candidates. Indian Railways has issued a centralized Employment Notice CEN No.01/2018, dated 3 February 2018 for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) (17673 posts) and Technician (8829 posts). Eligible applicants can apply before March 5.

Ahmedabad 164, Ajmir 1221, Allahabad 4694, Bangalore 1054, Bhopal 1679, Bhubaneswar 702, Bilaspur 945. Chandigarh 1546, Chennai 945, Gorakhpur 1588, Guwahati 422, Jammu-Srinagar 367, Kolkata 1824, Malda 880. Mumbai 1425, Muzaffarpur 465, Patna 454, Ranchi 2043, Secunderabad 3262, Siliguri 477, Thiruvananthapuram 345.

Only One application is required to be submitted for all the notified posts in this CEN. The scale of pay as per 7th CPC pay matrix is Rs.19900 plus other allowances. Candidates age should be between 18 to 28 years as on 1st July 2018. Relaxation on upper age limit is applicable to different category candidates as per rules.

Exam Pattern: The selection of candidates will be done in two stages (First stage CBT & Second Stage CBT). The test is common to ALP and Technician. Besides, ALP candidates who have qualified in second stage CBT have to attend Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT).

Negative marking for incorrect answers is applicable in two stages of CBT. 1/3rd of the marks will be allotted for each wrong answer. No negative marking for Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT).

Fee: General and OBC candidates should pay Rs.500 towards examination fee. SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman /Minorities /EBC/PWDs/ Female/Transgender candidates have to pay Rs.250.

Educational Qualifications

Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade. OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade.
