Oppo A79 Launched: 6-Inch Bezel-less Display, octa-core Processor. Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched its new 6-inch bezel-less smartphone Oppo A79. The device currently listed on the company’s Rs 23,500/- and will go on sale starting December 1. The new smartphone Oppo A79 features Oppo R11 smartphone in relations of the design, but there is some difference regarding their specifications.
The smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel camera with a f/1.8 aperture and another 16MP unit up front with f/2.0 aperture, and the front-facing camera also supports facial recognition feature. The phone has a dual-SIM slot and supports 4G LTE. 3,000mAh with support for Oppo’s VOOC fast charging through a micro USB port.
The device runs Android 7.1 Nougat based on Oppo’s preparatory ColorOS 3.2 and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of native storage which can be expanded further via a microSD card (up to 256GB).

The smartphones run on Android Nougat-based Color 3.2. Driving the OppoA79 is a 2.5Ghz MediaTek Helio P23 octa-center processor which combined with 4GB of RAM in the engine.
The handset fuelled by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery which accompanies Oppo’s exclusive VOOC quick charging help.
There’s also 64GB of locally available capacity which can be extended further through a microSD card (up to 256GB).
Additionally, at the back is a back mounted fingerprint sensor underneath the rear back camera.
