Sanction of Dearness Allowance a 4% from existing rate 132% to 136% with effect from 01st January 2017 in favor of State Government employees drawing pay in pre-revised scales of Pay.
The government of India. Ministry of finance, department of expenditure in their office memorandum No.1/3/2008-E.II(B), dated 07th April 2017 has enhanced dearness allowance payable to the central government employees from existing 132% to 136% with effect from 01st January 2017 in pre-revised scales of pay under ORSP Rules, 2008.
The State government has been pleased to release an additional dose of D.A. 4% enhancing the same from the existing rate of 132% to 136%. On the basic pay and Grade Pay took together with effect from 01st January 2017.
Subordinate Judicial officers drawing their pay by Law department Resolution No.8318/L dated 02nd Agust 2010. Work-Charged Employees are drawing on a regular scale of pay under the ORSP Rules 2008.

Odisha Chief Minister (CM) Naveen Patnaik approved the release of 1% DA for state government employees and pensioners which will be retrospectively applicable from July 2017.
This additional dose of D.A. a 4% on basic pay and grade pay took with effect from 01st January 2017 and manner of payment to the State gov employees under Rules, 2008. Official sources said. Now the DA for the employees will be 5% while the pensioners are drawing a pension at the. The pre-revised rate will be entitled to get an enhanced DA of 3%.
