GATE 2018 Admit Cards available now. Candidates can download admit cards at gate.iitg.ac.in. The IIT Guwahati has made available the admit card link for GATE 2018. The candidates have applied for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) can download the admit cards at gate.iitg.ac.in.

Steps to download GATE 2018 admit cards:

First step: Go to the website of GATE http://appsgate.iitg.ac.in

Second Step: Enter your user credentials viz. enrollment ID/ email ID and password & captcha

Third Step: Hit submit button

Step 4: Download the admit card (hall ticket) and take printout for further reference.

Candidates must bring downloaded admit card to the examination along with the original valid photo identity document. For example PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar card, voter ID, employee ID, college ID and driving license.

Important dates of GATE 2018

  • Admit cards available to download online from 5th January
  • GATE exam scheduled on 3, 4, 10 & 11th February 2018
  • Results available in the online portal on 17th March

Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati is conducting the GATE exam in two sessions from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.

GATE exam will be conducted online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. During the examination, a virtual calculator is available on the computer screen. The duration of the examination is three hours. The exam consists of 65 questions for 100 marks.

GATE exam would contain questions of two different types of all the papers.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): Each MCQ carries 1 or 2 marks in all the papers & sections. These questions are objective. One-Third marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Numerical Answer Type (NAT): each question carries 1 or 2 marks in all the papers & sections. There are no negative marks for each wrong answer in NAT.
