APSC Forest Rangers Notification 2018 Released, Apply Before April 4
APSC Forest Rangers Notification 2018 Released. Assam Public Service Commission has officially released notification for 50 posts of Forest Rangers in Assam Forest Services. Eligible aspirants should apply in the prescribed application form on or before April 4 at http://www.apsc.nic.in/.The pay scale is Rs 22000 to 87000 and Grade Pay Rs.10300.
Age: Candidate must have completed 21 years of age as on 1st January 2018. Upper age should not exceed 43 years. Relaxation of upper age limit up to five years applies to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes candidates.
APSC Forest Rangers Notification 2018
Educational Qualification: Applicant must have passed Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Science or Engineering from any recognized University. Further, the applicant should have studied at least one of the following subjects.
Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications/ Computer Science. Engineering (Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/Mechanical). Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, Zoology.
Physical Standards: Candidates should possess the following minimum physical standards for male and female.
Male: Height 163 cms, Chest 84 to 89 79 to 84 cms.
Female: Height 150 cms, Chest 79 to 84 74 to 79 cms.
Minimum height can be relaxed for Scheduled Tribes and other races such as Ladakhese, Mizo, Naga, Nepalese, Assamese. Bhutanese, Garowalis, Gorkhas, Kumaonis, Sikkimese & those from Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul & Spiti, Meghalaya. Male candidate 152 cm, Female candidate 145 cm.
Application fee is Rs.250 for general candidates and for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC candidates is Rs.150. Application fee should be paid in Treasury Dept in favor of “ Non-tax Revenue, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC Application fee receipt of Assam Public Service Commission.” For BPL candidates, exam fee is nil.
