APSC CCE Main 2016 e-Admit Cards available from January 18

APSC CCE Main 2016 e-Admit Cards available from January 18 at apsc.nic.in. Assam Public Service Commission has notified that e-Admission Certificates will be available for Combined Competitive Examination (Main) 2016 from 18th January. Candidates can download the e-Admit cards from the commission’s website www.apsc.nic.in. The commission will not send e-Admission certificate separately by post.

Procedure to download APSC CCE Main 2016 e-Admit Cards:

  • Go to the official website of commission www.apsc.nic.in.
  • Navigate to e-Admit card for Combined Competitive Examination (Main) 2016 and click on it
  • Provide user details such as registration number, date of birth etc
  • Download the e-admission certificate and take a print out

The APSC will conduct CCE Mains 2016 from 6 February to 25 March. The schedule of the exam appended below.

The CCE Mains 2016 comprises of two successive stages.

Preliminary Examination.

Main Examination (written & interview): The written examination comprises of two compulsory papers on English & general studies and any two optional subjects. The interview will carry 200 marks with no qualifying marks. Marks obtained in the main examination will determine the final rank of the candidate.

The question papers will be in English.

APSC CCE Main 2016 schedule:

General English and General Studies will be held on Sundays in one session only. The other papers will be held in two sessions on the date given. The commission will hold Paper-I in the morning session and Paper-II in afternoon session.

6th February: Agriculture, AH & Vety. Science, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering.

9th February: Commerce & Accountancy, Law, Physics, Anthropology

12th February: Chemistry, Philosophy, Psychology

18th February: General Studies

21st February: Botany, Fisheries, Geology, Medical Science

23rd February: Geography

27th February: Arabic, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, English, Hindi, Persian, Sanskrit

6th March: Sociology

10th March: Political Science

14th March: History

18th March: General English

22nd March: Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology

25th March: Education
